What I'm like at Home
When I’m not working, I like to continue learning and exploring my creativity at home. My daily routine usually includes meditation, studying, exercise, and hanging out with friends. I’m particularly interested in concept art and enjoy learning about the techniques used by illustrators to create their masterpieces. My bookshelves are filled with art and design, and I love collecting books from game concept artists to gain insight into their successful techniques.
In my free time, I've been studying Japanese for the past couple of years and recently took a solo trip to Japan to explore major cities. Although I only know a little over 750 words, I enjoy learning more about what made the things I grew up with, like Nintendo, and understanding more about the creatives that influence my life. For all other times, I enjoy ensuring there’s one fun thing to look forward to, like a day trip with friends or a new VR experience.
To help me stay on track with my goals, I keep a habit tracker and analyze how I spend my day. I keep as long of a streak as possible, and the externalization of the things I prioritize is helpful. I've managed to keep over 365-day streaks with language studies and meditation, though I know missing a day is not the end of the world!
